Jessie J: “The Voice Won’t Be Bitchy Like The X Factor” *Oooooh*

Pop star Jessie J has slammed the X Factor for being “bitchy” after claiming that The Voice, the new BBC talent show which she will be mentor on, will  just focus on finding talent.

Speaking to the Metro at the MTV EMA’s on Sunday night, the ‘Price Tag’ hit maker revealed that she is “not a fan” of the show because she wishes “they’d focus on the voices, not anything else.”

The star, who opted for a floor length leopard print dress for the event, said: “I couldn’t be a judge in the X Factor. I’d rather mentor than judge people – I couldn’t do it.

“I’m so excited to do The Voice – I always go with things that represent me and I love the idea of being a coach, mentor, inspiration to young people. So apply and be in Team Jessie, people!”

The premise of The Voice, which has proved to be popular in the USA with Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as judges, is that acts are chosen to go through to the next round based solely on their voice when they give a blind audition.

It is then that the successful hopefuls, who are coached by their mentors, go head-to-head to secure their place in the the live shows before the final four are chosen by the public and the coaches.

The winner is then chosen entirely by the public vote. <– Now that’s what the Fack I’m talking about!!!
